Features
Everything you need to log and lift
The number one design rule: you can record a set without thinking about it, mid-session, with sweaty hands.
Two taps per set
Weight and reps come pre-filled from your last session. Tick it off and the next row is ready.
Records found for you
Heaviest load, most reps, best set volume: every PR is caught as you log, against your whole history.
Suggested progression
Hit the top of your target rep range on every set and Seryz proposes the next load.
Rest timer
It starts when you log a set, then vibrates and chimes when time is up, even with the app in the background.
Reusable routines
Build your own sessions or start from the bundled templates, with a catalogue of over 200 exercises plus anything you add.
Stats that earn their place
Load curves, volume, estimated 1RM, body weight and weekly consistency. Nothing decorative.
Two modes
Lifting and HIIT in one app
Whether you count kilos or seconds, everything lands in the same history and counts towards your stats.
Strength training
Loads, reps, warm-up sets, drop sets, sets taken to failure.
- Kilograms or pounds, converted on display
- Estimated 1RM using the Epley formula
- Notes per exercise and per workout
HIIT and circuits
Work, rest, rounds: the timer runs the whole thing without you touching the screen.
- Sound and haptic cues on every transition
- Prep time, rest between rounds, per-exercise durations
- Circuit templates ready to start

Support the development
Seryz has no server, so keeping it running costs close to nothing: what it costs is the time spent on it and the yearly developer account fees. A donation unlocks nothing, and the app stays complete without giving a cent.

FAQ
What people ask most
Is Seryz really free?
Yes. Every feature is available without paying, without a subscription and without artificial limits. No paid tier is planned.
Do I need an account?
No. The app opens and works straight away, with no email or password. Since there is no account, there is nothing to restore online when you switch phones: export a backup before you do.
Does it work without a connection?
Completely. Everything is stored locally and the app needs no connection, not even on first launch. Handy in basement gyms.
Is there an Android version?
Yes. Seryz is built for iOS and Android from the same codebase. The launch starts on iOS, with Android following.
Where are my workouts stored?
In a local SQLite database on your device. Nothing is sent to a server, because there isn't one. You can export the lot as JSON or CSV from the settings.
Can I move my data to another phone?
Yes, through JSON backup export and import: export from the old device, import on the new one. There is no automatic sync, since there is no server.
Which phones does Seryz run on?
Seryz runs on iPhone and on Android phones, from a single codebase built with React Native and Expo. The iOS version ships first, Android follows. There is no web version and no tablet-specific layout for now.
What languages is the app available in?
Six: English, French, Spanish, Italian, German and Portuguese. The app follows your phone language by default and you can override it in the settings. The exercise catalogue is translated as well, not just the interface.
How is the estimated one-rep max calculated?
With the Epley formula: weight × (1 + reps / 30). Above 12 reps the estimate becomes unreliable, so Seryz ignores those sets rather than showing a wrong number. It is an indication for tracking progress, not a load you should attempt.
Can I add my own exercises?
Yes. Over 200 exercises ship with the app, and you can create your own with a muscle group, an equipment type and a tracking type (weight × reps, reps only, duration, or distance and duration). Custom exercises behave exactly like catalogue ones, records included.
Does Seryz work with Apple Health?
On iPhone, and only if you allow it, Seryz reads your body weight from the Health app and writes finished workouts to it. The exchange is local, between the two apps. If you decline, everything else keeps working.
Does Seryz tell me what to train?
No. Seryz is a log, not a coach: it records what you did and shows what changed. It suggests a load increase when you completed the top of your target rep range on every set, but it will not write a programme for you.
Ready for your next session?
Install Seryz, open it, start. There is nothing to configure before you lift.
iOS and Android. Free, no account, no ads.
